In 1970, The de Paul School was founded by Sister Anne Rita Mauck, SCN, to respond to the needs of bright children with learning differences who need a different approach to learning.The school’s passionate leadership team and dedicated faculty continues that legacy today, 55 years later.

staff

de Paul’s exceptional faculty and model provides a learning experience that honors the dignity of each student who has been misunderstood and underestimated. 

Our teachers respect and understand how our students’ brains are working. Our approach is based on the latest brain science, including the science of reading, and draws from research-informed, evidence-based best practices.  

Here, teachers demystify what learning and intelligence truly are, rebuild students’ confidence in the classroom, and nurture the belief that they can pursue their dreams – so long as they work hard, set goals, and aspire to reach them.
