Experience the de Paul Difference

Ways to Give

Every gift to The de Paul School, large and small, advances our mission

to serve children with learning differences.

Gifts to The Fund for de Paul help bridge the gap between tuition assistance and the actual cost of educating our students. The Fund for de Paul can also provide our teachers and students with the finest of classroom resources to advance their teaching and learning.

We're dedicated to teaching children with learning differences how to learn, become independent, and be successful. Our teachers are specially trained, exceptionally skilled, experienced, and fully devoted to this mission. Our curriculum is research-based, and tailored to meet the specific strengths and needs of our students. As a result, our students and alumni are achieving more than they ever dreamed possible.

Tuition alone does not cover the complete cost of a de Paul education. Therefore, like all independent schools, de Paul relies on gifts from alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends in the community to help close that gap. These contributions offer vital support to the quality of education and instruction at de Paul.

Ways to Give

Support Fund for de Paul

An annual giving program that provides vital support for operating expenses. Year after year, these gifts enhance key elements of a de Paul education such as technology upgrades, curricular and programmatic enhancements, faculty professional development, and tuition assistance for families. As an independent school which receives no state or federal funds, The de Paul School's today and tomorrow depend upon a vibrant annual giving program.

Tuition Assistance

The de Paul School is consequently deeply committed to a robust financial aid program that provides tuition assistance to more than one-third of our families. Additionally, the tuition assistance program helps ensure that we continue to cultivate a student body that reflects the diversity of our community. Gifts to support tuition assistance provide necessary aid for families who could not otherwise afford a de Paul education.

Events

All proceeds support Tuition Assistance.

Endowment

An endowment gift is a permanent investment in the future of The de Paul School and our commitment to serving students with learning differences. Endowed funds are invested, rather than used for immediate cash needs. Earnings from the endowment support student scholarships, professional development and academic programs.

Volunteer

In addition to financial contributions, the gift of your valuable time is another way to invest in our mission. Volunteers are needed in our library, athletics program, and for annual events like de Party for de Paul.

Planned Giving

A planned gift is a contribution that is arranged in the present and allocated at a future date and commonly donated through a will or trust.

Make a Capital Gift

A capital gift can be unrestricted or designated by the donor for use in support of specific programs, initiatives, or building/renovation projects.

Thank You For Supporting The Fund For de Paul!

Saturday, August 16, we held an official ribbon cutting ceremony on our new playground, thanks to the generous donations from the Crusade for Children and the Gheens Foundation. Their funds have also allowed us to break ground on extensive renovations to our Early Elementary Wing:

Thank you to The Jacob Koch Charitable Trust for supporting the addition of Singapore Math to our curriculum. Singapore Math is an innovative approach to math instruction that utilizes visual images and illustrations to help with comprehension of abstract concepts and theories. Below are videos produced by our students demonstrating the application of a Singapore Math strategy called "Model Drawing" to solve a mathematic language problem. By merging Singapore Math materials with de Paul's outstanding math curriculum, we are better able to serve our bright students who struggle to learn mathematics.

We are so grateful to hundreds of donors for annually supporting de Party for de PaulGolf Scramble, our Endowment Fund, and The Fund for de Paul. Because of your generosity and belief in the transformative power of de Paul, we are able to award nearly $400,000 in tuition assistance each school year. Without your kindness, those deserving children would simply not be able to enroll in our school.
