Ways to Give
Every gift makes a difference in the life of a bright student who learns differently. Your participation ensures our continued progress as a leader in education. Won’t you help our students learn what success feels like?
Gifts to The Fund for de Paul help bridge the gap between tuition assistance and the actual cost of educating our students. The Fund for de Paul can also provide our teachers and students with the finest of classroom resources to advance their teaching and learning.

The de Paul School family is dedicated to teaching children with learning differences how to learn, be independent, and be successful. Our teachers are specially trained, exceptionally skilled, experienced, and fully devoted to this mission. Our curriculum is research-based and tailored to meet the specific strengths and needs of our students. As a result, our students and alumni are achieving more than they ever dreamed possible.
Your contribution offers vital support to the de Paul community.
Ways to Give
de Paul relies on gifts from friends in the community, alumni, staff, parents and grandparents to help close the gap that tuition does not cover. Your gift to Fund for de Paul provides vital support for operating expenses such as technology upgrades, curricular and programmatic enhancements, faculty professional development, and tuition assistance for families. As an independent school which receives no state or federal funds, The de Paul School depends on a strong annual giving program supported by donors like you.
The de Paul School is committed to a robust financial aid program that provides tuition assistance to nearly half of our families. Your tuition assistance gift helps ensure that we continue to cultivate a student body that reflects the diversity of our community. Your gift to tuition assistance provides necessary aid for families who could not otherwise afford the help that their child desperately needs to succeed in school. Your gift will make a difference!
Each year the Legacy Committee, comprised of a select group of 8th grade students, leads their class in a variety of school fundraising activities in order to make a legacy gift to de Paul. They develop skills in leadership, communication, organization, and team building. Support comes from the entire de Paul community. The Team 8 Legacy gift is given to tuition assistance for the following school year.
In addition to being fun, participating in an event is a great way to for you to connect with parents, students, faculty, alumni, and friends in the community. Additionally, you are helping to raise funds for tuition assistance. The largest school event is de Party for de Paul which is usually held in November. This evening for adults typically raises one-third of tuition assistance for the following school year.
An endowment gift from you is a permanent investment in the future of The de Paul School and our commitment to serving students with learning differences. Endowed funds are invested, rather than used for immediate cash needs. Earnings from the endowment support professional development, academic programs and tuition assistance. Having an endowment helps to ensure sustainability of The de Paul School – making sure it will be here for students many years in the future.
In addition to financial contributions, the gift of time is another way to invest in our mission. Volunteers are needed in our library, athletics program, and for annual events like de Party for de Paul. Contact the Development Office to learn how you can help.
Your planned gift is a contribution that is arranged in the present and allocated at a future date, most commonly through a will or trust. All planned gifts support our endowment and are thus permanent investments.
A capital gift from you is used to support specific programs, initiatives, or building/renovation projects. Capital campaigns are held when a major project is needed to improve the school for students.
