Team Registration


Husky Cross Country

This team is open to all students in Teams 5-8. Learn to run, do your best, work to improve, and enjoy yourself! By the season's end, more experienced runners should be able to run a hard 5K, and less experienced runners should be able to run a hard 3K. Practices begin on Tuesday, July 18. Practice times and locations vary by season.

Summertime:

  • Tuesdays: Cherokee Park, 6:30-7:30pm, meet near restrooms by golf course
  • Thursdays: Seneca Park, 6:30-7:30pm, meet near restrooms
  • Saturdays: Tom Sawyer or River Road, 11am-12pm, meet near BMX Park or Water Tower

School-time:

  • Thursdays: Seneca or Cherokee Park, 4-5pm, meet near restrooms
  • Saturdays: Tom Sawyer or River Road, 11am-12pm, meet near BMX Park or Water Tower

Coaches are Mike Dzanko and Kristie Graf. Practice essentials include wicking shirt and shorts (no cotton or basketball shorts), good running shoes and socks, one or two water bottles, and a positive attitude! Midriffs must be covered and everyone must wear a shirt.

Meets:

  • Mondays: August 21-October 11, Greater Louisville Cross Country Series (Charlie Vettiner Park)
  • Saturday: September 9, Louisville Pure Tap 5K (River Road)
  • Saturday: October 14, KTCCCA Area 3 Elementary/Middle School Championships (McNeely Lake Park)

The $95 fee is in addition to the one-time Annual Athletic Fee of $75 (if you have not yet paid it for the 2017-2018 School Year). Please submit separate checks for each of these fees.

Students may not participate in clinics, practice, or games without first registering online and then submitting all forms and fees (when applicable) to the school.

AFTER YOU REGISTER ONLINE FOR ANY SPORT, PLEASE RETURN THE FOLLOWING FORMS WITH YOUR CHECKS:

All athletic volunteers must consent to an annual background check. Please sign and return this form to the school.
