Student Success Stories
Every
de Paul student has a unique story to tell. Each is a child with
distinctive gifts, talents, interests, and specific needs. Many
have experienced the traumatic effects of low achievement and feelings
of inferiority. Others discovered their learning differences at
an early age and received help before experiencing failure.
Their stories are woven together, however, by several common threads:
potential to learn, desire to learn, learning differences which
pose as obstacles to their development, and the need for the right
educational approach for them.
The following true stories are provided to give insight into the
experiences of children with learning differences, and the variety
of needs which lead families to de Paul.
