A
Letter from the Head of School
Welcome
to The de Paul School's website! If your family is seeking a school
which understands children and learning differences, and which is
focused on bolstering both achievement and confidence, I think you

Our
main hallway features two large signs which read, “Believe in your
child. We do!” Our mission is to teach students with learning differences
how to learn; how to become independent; and, how to succeed. We
believe in that noble mission and have designed an entire school
community around it. We believe that intelligent
children with learning differences like dyslexia or an attention
deficit can – and should – achieve in school.
We
believe that our students need a teaching difference. We believe
in presenting a calm school, with a high degree of organization
which promotes student and teacher successes. We believe in research-supported
and time-tested instructional practices which are recognized as
"best practice." We believe in our faculty, a collection
of highly trained, exceptionally talented, and keenly observant
teachers. We believe that it is our responsibility to truly know
our students -- not only by name, but according to individual strengths,
needs, and dreams.
At
The de Paul School, we believe in placing the student and the students'
needs at the heart of every major decision we make. I am convinced
that our tradition of being a student-centered school is the reason
why we have been so successful for nearly 40 years.
Our school's theme
this year is SYMPHONY. Would your family like to be part of the harmony,
accomplishment, collaboration, and peace which will result in another
student masterpiece? Call us and let us show you or tell you more
about the de Paul Difference. Your child will thank you one day as
a successful, independent, and learned adult.
Sincerely,
Anthony R. Kemper
