The mascot, Husky, is an ideal symbol for our students and our school. The husky is strong and is known for having an excellent work ethic. Huskies are beloved for their gentleness despite having great power. They love to play, they work well in teams, and they enjoy companionship. They are noble and beautiful creatures, with a physical impression that is described as “well-balanced.” They are intelligent and eager. Huskies are reliable and their friends can count on unsurpassed loyalty. They are noted for their endurance, and persevere despite harsh conditions that might tempt others to quit. It’s reported that huskies are easily bored if activities are not sufficiently challenging or engaging.

We are the huskies, and we impress in the classroom, in athletic competition, and as compassionate citizens within the larger community.
