Charitable Contributions
Friends of The de Paul School can help us fulfill our mission through charitable contributions. The de Paul School has a proud tradition of responsible and prudent stewardship of our gifts. Financial contributions may be earmarked specifically to our annual “Keys to Success” need-based scholarship campaign, or one of our five different endowment funds. Keys to Success annual need-based scholarship campaign provides tuition assistance for students who otherwise might not be able to attend The de Paul School. Endowment Funds provide long term financial viability for our school. We have five different endowment funds maintained at two local community foundations. de Paul Community Meets Alumni Parent Challenge!Five de Paul School Alumni Families issued a $50,000 challenge to the school community. Those families – the Doyle Family, the Gerstle Family, the Lechleiter Family, the Samuels Family, and the Schubert Family – donated $50,000 and challenged the school to raise matching funds in “new” money. The criteria for meeting the challenge included gifts from brand new donors, lapsed donors, or current donors. The deadline to receive qualifying matching gifts was June 30, 2011. We are excited to announce that the school community met and exceeded the Challenge. Funds raised are now being used to provide tuition assistance to our families for School Year 2011-12. We sincerely appreciate the benevolence of the five underwriting families, as well as those who chose to contribute to this unique challenge grant opportunity.
