This is the 20th Anniversary of de Paul's Compassion Project. Since 1996, every de Paul student has participated in efforts to alleviate suffering; collectively giving thousands of hours of service to hundreds of efforts, and growing into tomorrow's leaders and healers.
To help us celebrate 20 Years of Compassion, RASHEDA ALI (daughter of Muhammad Ali, advocate for youth, and children’s writer) will join us! She will be selling autographed copies of her book I’ll Hold Your Hand So You Won’t Fall that night and donating a portion of the proceeds to de Party for de Paul.
de Paul will hold de Party for de Paul at the Ali Center. Doors open at 6pm with tapas, beer, wine, bourbon, and a silent auction. From 6-8pm, the entire museum will also be open exclusively to de Party guests. Enjoy the exhibits and bid on items remotely through BidPal. At 8pm on the 6th floor, guests will gather for a celebration of compassion. At 9pm, the bar will reopen on the 6th floor and close the evening with friends and a river view.
All profits from de Party - every penny - go to need-based tuition assistance for de Paul students. Nearly half of de Paul families rely on this aid. Thank you for the compassion that you demonstrate - and the suffering you alleviate - by supporting de Paul families.
