Putting Your Gifts To Work

The de Paul School has a proud tradition of responsible and prudent stewardship of its gifts. Donors can be confident that each gift will be used appropriately and fully toward the use the donor designates. Our school is audited annually by an independent certified accounting firm. You will receive an acknowledgment stating your tax deductible portion. Renewable Gifts - Gifts are encouraged and accepted throughout the year. These gifts provide tuition assistance for students who otherwise might not be able to attend The de Paul School. Nearly 35% of our students receive a “need-based” scholarship. During School Year 2007-08 the school awarded over $317,000 in tuition assistance. Outside sources have helped us determine that our families have a financial need over twice that amount. Your contribution can help a student attend a school that is designed to meet their learning difference needs .

Endowment Funds - Provide long term financial viability for our school. The principal in each of these funds is invested and will remain untouched. Only the earnings are distributed on a yearly basis. We have five different endowment funds maintained at two local community foundations. Contact us for more information about the specific funds, how the earnings are used, or how to donate to them.

Special Events – Proceeds are used to provide tuition assistance for students. The school conducts two large special events each year. Our annual dinner and auction entitled de Party for de Paul is typically held in October. In May, we host a popular golf scramble. Invitations are sent and everyone is welcome to attend.
