Community & Development
The
de Paul School directs part of its energies to increasing community
awareness of learning differences.
The de Paul School Community Education Series:
Throughout each school year, the school hosts public seminars which
focus on issues of critical importance to children and adults with
learning differences. Some seminars are geared specifically
to the interests and concerns of parents, while others are geared
toward educators.
Speaker
requests: Civic groups and other organizations who wish
to learn more about learning differences are encouraged to contact
our school.
Professional
Development: The de Paul School fulfills a variety of speaking
requests each year, for professional organizations and other interested
groups. We are happy to share our expertise on research, best
teaching practices, home issues, and other topics related to learning
disabilities.
